A hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is a vehicle that combines conventional propulsion ( Pedaling in E-Bikes or internal Combustion Engines in motorcycles) with electric propulsion.
The planetary gearset is a mechanical device that consists of four parts called the sun gear, the planet
gears and their
carrier, and the ring gear.
The ring gear, which is the outer gear, rotates around the sun gear, which
is at the center.
The mechanical connection between the ring gear and sun gear is established through the planet gears
(a.k.a. pinion),
which are held together by the carrier. There are three axes rotating in the system (ring, carrier,
sun).
The degrees of freedom in a planetary gearset are two, where the speed values of any two gears determine the speed of the third gear.
Educational Purposes
Our Hybrid Planetary Gearset Trainer is designed to help teaching and understand the somewhat complex
operation of a
typical hybrid vehicle drivetrain.
Drive Unit for Hybrid E-Bikes and Cargo E-Bikes
E-bikes are responsible for almost zero CO2 emissions and produce very little noise when they’re on the
road presenting
a significant opportunity to cut carbon emissions.
An electric hybrid bike is equipped with an electric motor that gives you additional power to your
pedalling action.
This can help you get some exercise or move around quicker and more comfortably.
Additional Features
Our Hybrid Planetary Gearset Can be matched with our Ball CVT to be used in Hybrid Electric motorcycles
and light duty
Hybrid vehicles
